Properties: Pure product is white odorless crystalline, melting point is 99.5 (with decomposition), solubility(at 20 ): In water 3000ppm, It is easy decomposition in the aqueous solution, especially at 45. It is more quickly decomposes. As well as it is decomposed in strong alkaline and acid.

Uses: Dazomet isan excellent soil sterilant of high efficiency, low-toxicity and no-residue environmentally. When dazomet is applied to wet soil, it will generate Methyl isothiocyanate gas which will quickly expand between soil particles and effectively kill nematode, silborne pathogen(epiphyte and bactericdie), soil insect, annual weed seeds etc, after application of dazomet, the soil can be cleaned completely. It is the most applicable and effectivetotheplants which can be plantedthe all year around.
